PARAMETERS FOR THE RENOVATION PROJECT
Current condition of the apartment and further plans:
The apartment is in modest condition, has not been renovated or refreshed for a long time. Currently free of furniture. The majority of appliances likely to be in need of upgrading, aside from the washing machine, which was purchased recently.
The owner plans to live at the apartment part-time and to rent out while away travelling (e.g. via Airbnb) – i.e. mixed use purpose. The apartment also needs to increase in value via the renovation – in case of the decision to sell.
Goals for the renovation:
1. To increase the sales value via moderate investment in renovation and furnishing.
2. To make the apartment highly functional and with the most efficient use of space.
3. To make the small meters feel bigger and the apartment seem larger.
4. To make it bright and cosy for 2-4 people to stay at.
5. To adapt the apartment for the mixed use purposes of living in it and renting out on temporary basis.
Single-window principle is preferred, meaning that one company takes care of the project from A to Z (from design to the finished product, incl. all the key design elements).
