Looking for a plumber to install a toilet in our bathroom.
- Waste pipe already exists in the basement below, just under the bathroom floor
- A hole needs to be drilled through the tiled bathroom floor, aligned with the existing pipe below
- Floor insulation and membrane around the pipe needs to be temporarily opened from below, then resealed/repacked after the connection is made
- Connect toilet to the waste pipe, mount it, connect water supply, test for leaks
Important: Alignment between the hole and the existing pipe needs to be verified before cutting - ideally by drilling a pilot hole up from the basement.
