Kuvaus
The house is a wooden rentamies omakoti in Kumupla, Helsinki.
There is a rotten wood panel just above the balcony's external door. There is likely at least 3-4 rotten planks due to water ingress. We would like the rotten wood replaced and painted to match the existing building.
Additionally, a rainwater gutter should be added to match the existing rainwater gutters to prevent the problem from occurring again. The rainwater gutter should divert the water via guttering to the roofs main rainwater gutter. Whilst the roof above the door looks like it should divery most of the water it does a very poor job and the water splashes down and is damaging the bottom part of the door frame and door. The door parts are NOT required to be fixed in this renovation.
- replace out and paint the rotten wood where needed
- add a rain gutter above the door to make sure water is not dripping down and damaging the new wood and door.
