Project Title: Full Apartment Renovation in Helsinki (74.5 m²)
We are looking for a reliable and professional contractor for a full, turnkey renovation of a 74.5 m² apartment located in Kannelmäki, Helsinki. The building was constructed in 1981.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following items:
General:
Painting/ wallpapering of all walls and ceilings in the living room and two bedrooms.
Smoothing/plastering of the living room ceiling before painting.
Entrance Hall:
Demolition of a non-load-bearing wall of the current walk-in closet to expand the hallway.
Installation of a new, custom-built, floor-to-ceiling sliding door wardrobe system along the entire length of the wall.
Kitchen:
Complete demolition and removal of the old kitchen cabinetry and appliances.
Installation of a completely new kitchen system, including cabinets, countertops, sink, and tap. (Plumbing and electrical work required).
Bathroom & WC:
Note: This is a surface-level renovation, not a full structural overhaul.
Removal of the old bathtub.
Application of new waterproofing and tiles only on the floor and wall areas that are exposed after the bathtub removal.
Painting of all remaining existing wall and floor tiles with professional tile paint.
Replacement and installation of new bathroom fixtures: a new vanity unit with sink, a new toilet, and a new shower set.
Installation of a new glass shower screen.
Required Services:
We require a turnkey offer that includes all labor, materials, project management, and waste disposal.
The contractor must be able to prepare the necessary technical drawings and documents required for the renovation notification (remontti-ilmoitus) to the housing company (taloyhtiö).
As the building is from 1981, the contractor must follow all legal procedures regarding a potential asbestos survey (asbestikartoitus) for the bathroom and kitchen areas before demolition begins.
